What is a Multi-sports event?

with other sports. It is particularly useful for young children as a
means of offering variety and the chance to develop coordination skills.

Organiser tips

  1. Setting up

16 players are split into 2 teams of 8:

  1. 1 team of 8 Mini Tennis players (split into 2 teams, A and B)
  2. 1 team of 8 Football players (split into 2 teams, A and B)
  1. Match format

Mini Tennis A play Football A in tennis. Matches are best of 3 tie-breaks. At the same time,  Mini Tennis B play Football B in a 4 v 4 Football match lasting 10 minutes

  1. Who scores the matches?

A referee is required to supervise the football match. Players are required to score their own tennis matches.

  1. How to win

The winning team is the team with the most points accumulated from the tennis and football matches. Points allocation is shown on the next page
